Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

Executives and employees of NEXT Financial Group Inc. (“NEXT”) participated in this year’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® on Saturday, Oct. 1 to help take a stand against breast cancer and show their united support for the cause.

NEXT has previously walked in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008.

“This truly is a fantastic event and organization,” said Kimberly Branch, president of 4WARD Marketing Inc., a subsidiary of NEXT. “Every time we participate in the Race for the Cure, it brings us closer as a company, and gives us an opportunity to make a difference for so many people.”

Over 38,000 people—comprised survivors, fighters and supporters—walked in this year’s Race, raising $1.9 million that will go toward funding research, educational initiatives and treatment programs.
